How do I sound to you!

Do we ever listen to how we speak to the people that are around us? It can appear to be that every time we are in a bad place we speak with a tone that is very negative and it feels to the other person as if we are either criticizing or putting them down.

This is not about who they are but who WE are. We can be so condescending and ungrateful, not because we are angry with anyone else but we are angry at ourselves. When we cannot take responsibility for who we are, we can easily turn it into someone else and make them the ones that are responsible for our feelings. More often than not we cannot see what our realities are for we are into a strong denial that we are speaking poorly to others. We can find the smallest incident to come down hard on others when in fact they are innocent of what we are criticizing them for.

We must look closely at ourselves recognizing that small little feeling that hits us in our heart to show us that we are acting out our frustrations on others. We do know what the truth is and it is necessary that we take responsibility for our actions. This is how we grow for without this honesty we remain frozen inside of ourselves and cannot emotionally grow!
